Some things you see in our neighborhood within a 5 minute walk from our building
.. well everything from 24 hour supermarkets and every kind of restaurant, The University of Panama, the main hospital, cheap broadband internet cafes, the park, ATMs, buses to everywhere else in the city, the nightlife, casinos etc to the jungle (well the Jungle Park is 10 minutes by taxi ($1.25) really, but you get the picture ?)
You walk out of our door down to the pavement cafes on Via Argentina. 2 blocks left and you would be on the cities main road the Via Espana just across it you would find a multiplex cinema and a little further down El Rey the 24 Hour Supermarket (The smaller supermarket Casa Del Carne is quicker for small amounts of shopping).
You'll pass things like
"One bus ride for 25 cents from our hostel takes you to the Colonial City".
A $1.25 taxi ride takes you to all the major shoppingmalls.
